It has been a while since I updated my journal, but hey! - I've been busy ;D
I'm recently on a sugar-rush from eating like 4 waffles >< But I needed them after me and mums little trip today. We went to search for a fabric-outlet deep in the forests :p It's really not at all far from where we live but it took us like an hour and a half to find it XD But at least I got to buy some nice fabric and some cheap zippers and overlock thread ^_^ All in all a good day.

Sooo.. Christmas is over.. well ok, two more days of meeting everyone in the family and eating massive amounts of food ><
I almost get tired of it after one day O_O It's exhausting (But still fun though)
On the way to my grandmother now. It can get a little bit quiet over there. My other side of the family is quite the opposite ^^ Seeing them tomorrow!

Gaah... I want my salary for november! >< I just hope I get it before christmas so I dont have to be ms scrooge when it comes to presents. Though on the other hand.. If I get it after christmas there will be more money for meee ; )

One question: You say you draw with Corel Painter!
Is it a good program?
I think about using it, too, but never had the chance to test it.
I always use Photoshop maybe you can tell me if CP is better?

I dont know if it is better. I think it is more a matter of taste. I find it easier to work with since it is focused more on the painting and you dont have any other distractions. So everything is simpler. And I just like the brush control better in Corel than in Photoshop. Dont know why though..

How do you work?
I saw the speedpainting video and wonder about how you choose your colors.
It looks like you just have the right feeling for taking the best fitting color.
Do you take any sketches (or model screenshots from the movie) before you start drawing?
